Summer Program


WEST WILLOW Summer Program

This program has been ran by Washtenaw Cty. Parks and Recreation for the last 2 yrs. It is open to youths from completed Kindergarten - 11 yrs. Days of operation are usually Monday-Thursday or Friday. Operating hrs.: 11-3:00 pm. Early registration takes place in May and camp begins 1 or 2 weeks after public school ends for the summer. Flyers and more information are available at the CRC building (camp site) by mid May of each year.

The program is usually located at 2057 Tyler Rd. , Ypsilanti, Mi. , 48198  at the Community Resource Center (CRC) in the West Willow neighborhood (right behind the covered bus stop and before the lg. church and west Willow Park).

Lunch is provided by Food Gatherers and is free of charge. There is lots of fun with board games, group games, crafts, field trips, and guest speakers. Bring your child out for a safe and fun event all summer long.

This program is one of the youth activities sponsored by or partnered with the NWWNA, WCPR, YPSI TWP.,Food Gathers, Growing Hope, Wash. Cty./OCED, Wash. Cty. Grandparents, MiWorks and other partners, ex. Ypsi Thrift Shop.
