SAFETY MEETING THIS WEEK, Jan. 28, 2016
The Vandalism/Break In Action Team is now called the SAFETY ACTION TEAM. We meet the 4th Thursday of most months at 6-7pm at the Community Resource Center(crc), 2057 Tyler rd. This group explores ways to minimize vandalism and break-in in West Willow. The Citizen Patrol also meets for a merged meeting to support one another. The team has finished their information project and hope to soon get this out to the residents of West Willow. It is filled with information to protect self, home and car. HAPPENINGS IN WEST WILLOW
1-9-16: Meet at the CRC (2057 Tyler rd.) at 9:30am and walk to West Willow Park for a 30 minute walk. This will be every Saturday. For more information contact Joann at 734-845-7362 or joannmcclum@aol.com. This event is made possible by the Ann Arbor Community Foundation(AACF) Grant. Project "West Willow Neighborhood Walking Program".
1-9-16: Saturday FAMILY GAME NIGHT at the CRC 5-8pm. This event is every 2nd. Saturday of the month.
1-12-16 : Tuesday, Informational meeting about YOUTHBUILD. Hosted by Washtenaw Community College. Held at the CRC from 10:00am - 12pm. This program provides FREE services like GED and programming that leads to certificates for employment. Some critiera: low-income, age16-24years and high school dropout or enrolled in alternative high school program. To RSVP, contact (734) 677-5006 or youthbuild@wccnet.edu
